We absolutely LOVE traveling to new places for engagement sessions, and when Kara + Pat told us they wanted their hometown of Georgetown to be the backdrop for their session we were thrilled.

We started our session at the stunning Dumbarton Oaks where our couple got engaged! It was so exciting to see where Kara said “Yes!” to becoming Mrs. DiGiovanni and one of their favorite places in Washington DC.

After the gardens we headed several blocks down to the Georgetown Canal and explored the beautiful bridges and fall foliage.

We finished up the evening along the water overlooking the Kennedy Center and playing in the fountain! We are so exciting for their wedding next year, the time is going to just fly by!
