La Massaria, one of Philadelphia’s premier wedding and banquet venues, sits in a picturesque location just shy of an hour from the city. Nestled in the depths of the Bella Vista Golf Course, this venue was once the location of a large homestead which dates all the way back to 1802. During renovations, extreme care of taken to maintain the rustic ambiance but also to elevate the existing structures to the modern age. The banquet area used to house the stables for the homestead but now are ready to host your big day!

In order to retain the rustic ambiance, loving attention was paid to the stables. The lower level bar, where your guests can enjoy a lovely time when they arrive as well as cocktail hour after your ceremony, was lovingly crafted with marble. When you walk inside, you can’t help but be awed by first the stunning stonework walls and then by the exposed wooden beams. These beams not only are floor to ceiling beams, but the ceiling itself is outfitted with them. Also soaring in these elegant rafters are beautiful chandeliers which help maintain an air of rustic elegance. Also featured in the breathtaking banquet hall is a wall of broad windows which not only allow you and your guests to enjoy the views but also allow access to the terrace. Your party doesn’t have to stay indoors- it can spill outside! As your dinner ends, your party can begin in earnest on the dance floor as guests mill about the property, inside and out.

In addition to the wonders of the restored stables and the landscape, the staff is second to none. When you have your wedding at La Massaria, you will have a dedicated wedding director, a day of onsite wedding coordinator, and a banquet captain. They will work together to make your dreams come true with little effort on your part. Also available is five-star on site food services for butler passed hors d’oeuvres at your cocktail hour and a fantastic plated dinner at your reception for up to 240 of your closest friends and family.

This venue is also award winning! La Massaria has won the Best of the Knot for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2021. Most recently, for 2023, La Massaria was added to the Knot’s Hall of Fame! As the sun set over the golf course, Tori and Dan’s wedding day culminated in a breathtaking display of love and celebration. The views and sunset they enjoyed for their big day were second to none! As the evening progressed and the sky blushed with the sunset, the dance floor came alive with dancing, laughter, and joy as Tori and Dan’s family and friends joined them to dance the night away.
